Visitors Policy
Within the Infinity Alliance, our 24 hour staffed homes have specific rules in regards to visitors. Young people should be advised of the rules of their placement prior to their move in (I.e. during a pre-placement meeting). All young people are required to sign the Young Persons Handbook that includes details of rules regarding visitors.
Visitors are defined as someone who is coming to the property who does not work there or reside in the house. This visitor’s policy relates to those visiting the young person outside of a professional capacity e.g. friends and family, however not all aspects can apply to professionals making house calls e.g. the Local Authority
Staff may be classed as visitors if they are visiting the house outside of their shift hours, this may be the case during induction periods or to introduce new staff to a new environment. All staff need to be aware of when visitors are in the house and make them aware of the rules and ensure that there are
